A friend's deep struggles inspired this painting. It's the exploration of a mind's idea without rules. No compass. 

I hope viewers think it's complicated, twisted, simple and emotional all at the same time. I chose the mediums that allowed for the richest color and allowed me to blend details together or separate them as needed.
