An experiment with new materials used in new ways...

I painted this mixed media painting with oil, acrylic and spray paint and then covered the window opening portion with a glossy resin finish in order to mimic the surface of an actual window pane. 

This painting symbolizes the hypocrisy of creating art to make money. It's a double-edged sword because you have to sell it to survive financially, but it holds you back creatively at the same time. 

I hope the viewers understand and appreciate the meaning of the word art painted into this creative art piece. I also hope they find it as cool as I do, both aesthetically and literally.
